Call for Papers

The Content Team of India International Disputes Week 2026 invites short, original, and unpublished articles for an edited book aligned with the central theme of IIDW 2026. The proposed volume seeks to capture contemporary opinions, practitioner insights, and critical perspectives on international dispute resolution, rather than long-form academic research papers. The book is proposed to be released during the IIDW 2026.

Nature of Submissions

Contributions must be:

Opinion-based / Insight-driven

Analytical and Forward-looking

Focused on trends, challenges, reforms, or practice-oriented perspectives

Theme & Scope

Submissions must engage meaningfully with the overarching theme of IIDW 2026.

Indicative areas include (but are not limited to):
  1. India’s Cross- Border Dispute Services
  2. Family Law- Cross- Border Frameworks
  3. Civil & Constitutional Disputes
  4. International Commercial Disputes & Frameworks
  5. AI, Data Privacy & Algorithmic Liability in Commercial Disputes
  6. Cross Border Insolvency Framework
Note: The Editorial Committee reserves the right to reject submissions that fall outside the scope of the theme.

Submission Guidelines

  1. ​Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two authors per submission.
  2. 1,500–2,500 words, inclusive of any references. Submissions exceeding the prescribed word limit will be summarily rejected.
  3. Minimal in-text references may be used only where absolutely necessary.
  4. Writing style must be clear, concise, and accessible.
  5. References should be by way of end notes and not foot notes.
  6. Formatting requirements: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12, Line spacing: 1.5, Alignment: Justified, File format: .doc or .docx, Language: English.
  7. Provide a 50-word author bio in the body of the email.
  8. Submissions must be sent to editorial.iidw@gmail.com with the subject line: “IIDW 2026 Article Submission”
  9. Final Article Submission Deadline: 21 February 2026 (11:59 PM IST)
Note: Non-compliance with formatting requirements will result in rejection.

Originality & Author Declaration

By submitting an article, the author(s) confirm that:

The submission is original and unpublished.

It is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

It does not infringe any third-party rights.

The Editorial Committee reserves the right to conduct plagiarism and quality checks.

Editorial Discretion & Publication Rights

  • The Editorial Committee retains absolute discretion over selection, editing, structuring, and placement of submissions.
  • Acceptance of a submission does not guarantee publication.
  • The Editorial Committee reserves all rights relating to publication, including editorial revisions, deferment, or exclusion of any article.
  • The Editorial Committee further reserves the right to stall, postpone, or cancel the publication of the book in its entirety if the required quality standards are not met.
The decision of the Editorial Committee shall be final and binding.
